Project Routing and Quote
Start With a Short Automotive Project RFQ
Tell us what exists now, what result you need, and when it matters. Detailed technical requirements are optional at this first step and can be requested after the project is routed.
Minimum Information for the First Review
Six required fields route the inquiry; technical details can follow.
Who and where
Name, company, business email, and country establish the business contact and communication route.
Project route
Choose repeat production, mold transfer, second source, new mold, DFM, insert/assembly, export mold, or “not sure yet.”
Part and current status
Briefly describe the component/application, whether a mold exists, the current stage, and the outcome or problem to solve.
Automotive Project Routing Form
Required fields are limited to initial business and project routing. Material, demand, timing, file status, approval requirements, and other technical details are optional.
CAD, Drawings, and Controlled Technical Files
This form does not accept direct file uploads. After the first review, send authorized STEP/Parasolid, controlled drawings, mold information, or a secure download link to jerry@ckmold.com and reference the company and part name.
If an NDA is needed, state that in the optional notes before transferring restricted information. Do not send technical data that you are not authorized to disclose.
What Happens After Submission
- The inquiry is routed to repeat production, transfer, second source, new mold, DFM, insert/assembly, export mold, or a clarification path.
- The first response identifies the next useful inputs and any immediate fit, ownership, interface, timing, or validation questions.
- A quotation defines the agreed deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, responsibilities, milestones, evidence, and acceptance gates.
- Tooling, production, transfer, repair, or testing begins only after the required technical and commercial approval.
Responses are handled during Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00; Saturday–Sunday, 9:00–17:00 (China Standard Time, UTC+8).
